Description

In this contemporary interpretation of traditional Asian lanterns, East meets West in a playful manner. Paper lanterns have a history of hundreds of years in Asia, appearing among people from various social classes, with different colors, shapes, and sizes carrying various meanings. Here, cultural forms are set aside to create a series of all-white lamps. They are handcrafted from rice paper, merging various sizes and shapes. The collection includes three different versions of lanterns and a table lamp, all made from ivory-white paper and accented with black-stained oak.
