Description

The VL Ring Crown series originates from a lamp designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen in the 1940s for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (located in Copenhagen). The series, which includes wall lamps and pendant lamps, features an organic design that made the Danish Broadcasting Corporation shine. Vilhelm Lauritzen also designed the VL38 and VL45 lamps for the building. The original version of the VL Ring Crown lamp was not used in the building, but soon after, the brand produced and launched the Ring Crown lamp based on the original drawings. In 1947, Vilhelm Lauritzen’s assistant, Finn Juhl, used the VL Ring Crown lamp in an interior design project for the Danish porcelain manufacturer Bing & Grøndahl in Copenhagen. In 2019, the VL Ring Crown lamp was relaunched, staying true to the original materials and design. This lamp is made of untreated polished brass and is available in models with three, five, or seven shades, crafted from glossy, hand-blown, triple-layered white opal glass. Alongside this lamp, the original wall and pendant lamps installed in the Danish Broadcasting Corporation were also reintroduced. The VL Ring Crown series adds a unique and authentic touch to stylish interiors, softly illuminating modern life with its warm light.

Returns & Refunds

Eligible standard products may be returned through our authorization process. Please review the essentials below before installing, modifying, or sending an item.

30-day return periodRequest a return for an eligible standard product within 30 calendar days of delivery. Approved returns must be shipped within 14 calendar days.

Return conditionItems must remain unused, uninstalled, unwired, unmodified, complete, and undamaged, with proof of purchase and original packaging wherever reasonably possible.

Damage or order issueContact us within 7 calendar days whenever possible. Retain all packaging and provide clear product, packaging, and shipping-label photos or video.

Refund timingReturns are normally inspected within 3–7 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
